Vegan Father’s Day Menu
Father’s Day is almost here, so it’s time to start planning. To help you out I have put together this collection of recipes that would be great for your Father’s Day menu. There are ideas for breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert. These are some of my husband’s favorite. My Dad also loves these recipes and he is far from vegan.
Treat the Dads in your life to some delicious homemade that the whole family will love too. These recipes are tasty, easy and many of them would be great for a cookout or potluck. The cinnamon rolls are my husband’s and my Dad’s absolute favorite so they will for sure be on our menu.
Breakfast:
You can’t go wrong with this classic southern breakfast.
This recipe can be made the night before and then baked in the morning, so it is great if you have a busy morning.
Overnight Cinnamon Rolls
The rolls are made the night before and left in the fridge overnight. They just need a little time to rise in the morning before baking.
Main Dish:
Vegan Black Bean Burgers
These burgers are great for the grill. You can add on cheese and all your favorite burger toppings. Avocado is amazing on these.
This is classic comfort food recipe that has been updated using lentils. It is fun to eat and super easy to make.
This recipe is for the dad that loves spice!
This is a great meal for the pasta loving Dad. It is quick and easy, but still delicious and full of flavor.
Sides:
Cool and crunchy side dish that is great for a BBQ.
Oven Roasted Corn
Shuck the corn and rub it with butter. Roast it in the oven for about 30 minutes at 400 degrees. Sprinkle with salt when it come out. I like to rub on some lime juice and sprinkle on some chili powder. It’s Amazing!
A twist on classic slaw. The raw collards are delicious in this recipe.
Vegan version of the classic cornbread recipe.
Dessert:
The base of this pizza is sugar cookie. Frost it and top with all of your favorite fruit.
Oatmeal Raisin Cookies and Ice Cream
There is nothing better than fresh bakes cookies. Serve with some vanilla ice cream for a great dessert.
