Mango Spinach Smoothie
Saturday is for smoothies! This is light and refreshing. Perfect for breakfast, lunch or after a great workout.
My kids love smoothies, so we usually make them at least a few times a week. It is a great way to get in your fruits and veggies. I always try to in add some sort of greens. I love kale in my smoothies, but spinach has a milder flavor so the kids like it a little better.
In this smoothie I used frozen mango chunks, a frozen banana, spinach, almond milk and some vanilla protein powder. I like Vega protein, but use whatever you like best or none at all. You can also use whatever nondairy milk you like best, coconut milk would be amazing.
