Quick Vegan Cheese Sauce

Makes about 1 1/2 cups of sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 can white beans
  • 1/2 cup nutritional yeast
  • Juice of 1/2 a lemon
  • 1 tbsp white miso
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup non dairy milk
  • 1 tbsp vegan butter spread

Instructions

  1. Drain and rinse the white beans.

  2. Add the beans and all the remaining ingredients into a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.  

  3. Serve at room temperature or heat up in a small pan over medium heat.
